Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

The False Lash Effect mascara has a great formulation and really volumizes and lengthens.
It doesn't hold the curl very well though. Also, the brush is very big, so I sometimes have a hard time getting in the corners of my eye (if you have small eyes, this might cause some difficulty).
Still, the formula weighs up for it. It gives such good volume and length and is great for everyday use but dramatic enough for night.
I have not tried the waterproof version, but the normal mascara lasts long and is easy to wash off.
I personally don't mind the bulky brush and the volume and length it creates means I don't need to curl my lashes as much, so I love this mascara. I've used it everyday for almost a year now and I would buy it again any day!

L'oreal Blush Délicieux with vitamin c

This series of blushes has matte shades as well as shimmery shades. The come in little compact-like boxes with a mirror and a small brush. Very practical for on the road or in your purse. The brush is not bad at all for being a small travel brush.
I have the matte shade "Sandalwood veil", which is a light pink. This blush is really pigmented, the color payoff is amazing. The color is also beautiful. I normally tend to go to peachy-toned blushes and don't wear pink blushes like this, but it looks great!
It has vitamin c in it so it is good for your skin, and it even has a nice smell to it.
I also have the shimmery shade "Sugar praline". I like this as well, but the color payoff is not even close to the matte shade, and it is sometimes difficult to make it show up. It also has the vitamin c and the fresh smell, but it is starting too look a little bit funny in the container. I generally like matte blushes better than shimmery blushes so I would prefer the matte L'oreal blushes.

I highly recommend the matte blushes (Blush Délicieux Mat), I think you get great value for your money and it is easy to take with you. It doesn't hurt that the packaging is cute too.

Nivea Soft Body and Face Cream

I have really sensitive and dry skin, which makes it difficult for me to find a moisturizer that is right for my face. I need something that will give plenty of moisture, but doesn't end up being too rich and giving me breakouts or crazy shine.
This product is just perfect!
I use it every day, twice a day on my face. It not only moisturizes really well, but also absorbs well. I use it as a base before I put on my makeup and as a treatment for my face when I go to bed at night. It works great for both purposes. To top it off, it is super cheap and available in most grocery stores and all cosmetic stores (in Europe, I realize that it might be a little more difficult to get a hold of this outside of the European continent). It comes in a jar with 200ml or in a smaller tube (75ml) for on the go.
In the winter, I have extremely dry skin so it is not sufficient for the rest of my body, but I will use this on my body as well during the summer. And it makes a great hand cream in your purse!
It has a lovely fresh scent and jojoba oil and vitamin E to care for your skin. It is so quick and effective, I am never switching to anything else for my daily routine!

Lumene Delight Duo Eyeshadow

The Lumene Delight Duo eyeshadows can be used wet and dry and come in a variety of colors, although mainly purples and browns.
I have tried "Silence" (a matte lighter lilac and a darker purple) and "Whisper" (a matte warm medium brown and a taupy grey). I love the colors in the container, but unfortunately I see very little of this once I apply the shadows.
The "Silence" set has the worst color payoff I have ever experienced in an eyeshadow and I have to work it with a purple base in order to even get some color on my lid.
The "Whisper" duo is better and the colors are very nice. However, I still wish there was a better color payoff and all the shadows have a tendency to be chalky and difficult to apply.
I very much regret my purchase of the "Silence" duo and even though the "Whisper" set is better, it is not worth the money. I would not repurchase any of these items.

Rimmel powder blush

I have the Rimmel powder blush in Santa Rose (001). This is a beautiful matte peachy pink and it is buildable so you can chose how much color you want to have on your cheeks.
This is my favorite everyday blush. It is what I go to when I don't know what to chose or when I just want something nice without having to think about it. Fantastic blush for everyday use!

Nivea Beauté Lip Stick

I have two Nivea Beauté Lip Sticks; one in Clémetine and one in Rose Perle.
I've had these for a long time and I absolutely love these! I have very sensitive skin and my lips tend to have bad reactions to many lipsticks, lipglosses or even chapsticks!
This however, has never given me problems and makes my lips feel soft.
It is really creamy and soft with a matte finish.
The Clémentine is my favorite. It looks like a scary orange, but when you put it on, it is absolutely gorgeous! It turns into a peachy color that is just perfect for me.
The Rose Perle has a really good color payoff. I personally like this less because it does not suit my coloring as well (I am very fair with pale rosy skin), but it is also very nice.
Unfortunately, I think Nivea has changed their lipstick colors since I bought this. I could not find these last time I looked, but I will try other Nivea lipsticks, I absolutely adore these!

Nivea Beauté Eye Line and Design pencil liner

I have had this liner for many years and it is still creamy and glides on nicely. It is however very difficult to sharpen and you have to be careful when putting the top on because it easily glides too far and breaks off the tip of the pencil (or maybe I'm just heavy-handed). It is a very soft pencil, which smokes out easily. I personally love the smoked liner look and this is great for that. However, I find that it melts on me during the day (even in the winter) and tends to get all over the place, even when putting it on because it is so creamy.
Nice for smokey looks and good smudger on the end of the pencil.
It is part of my 5 products that I will finish before purchasing new products, but I would not repurchase this as I find it too messy for everyday use.

First entry

Hi everyone!

The first ever entry in my beauty blog.
I'm excited to start sharing my tips and experiences with you guys. I am not educated or a special expert. I'm just a normal girl who's tried her fair share of products and follows beauty blogs and vlogs in order to improve my routine.
As a student, I spend way too much money on this interest and have decided that I will not allow myself to buy more products until I've finished 5 products which I am close to finishing (MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara, Nivea Duo Eyeshadow in Havanna, Nivea Duo Eyeshadow in Toscana, Nivea Eye Line and Design in Pure Black, Nivea Lipstick in Clementine, and Nivea Lipstick in Rose Perle - a lot of Nivea products, but they just happen to be the oldest ones...although I adore the lipsticks). So I'll keep you posted on the progress of that.
I hope you will be interested in my reviews and that they may be helpful in the future.
